Doc In A Day is a program designed to benefit local nonprofits and filmmakers all over the country.

Over the course of 24 hours (or 48), teams of 3 filmmakers who may not have time to practice their skills during the week are given the chance to produce a short film for a local nonprofit.

Nonprofits benefit from a professional film that can be used to promote their message, publicize their organization, or inform the public about a specific topic.

If you or your organization would like to be a part of this program, email Emmett Williams at hello @

The program began in Washington, DC at the amazing nonprofit Stone Soup Films and is now expanding nationwide. Below are a few examples of films that have been produced in one day with this program.
